How to Make Sure You Are Safe-Trading

Trading on Stardoll is a real gut-wrencher. You are reserving a rare piece of clothing for 2 Stardollars to another member. This is not risk-free! You need to make sure that you are not with someone who will buy your piece than run off, without you getting your cut. There are easy ways to detect weather your person is safe or not.

Step 1) How good is the deal your getting? For example:
Your trading your... Babydoll Tunic
They are trading.... DKNY Scuba Dress, RIO Bandana, Soft White Tank Top
If the trade is too good, and they are giving you so much stuff for something with not a lot of value, they are most likely trying to convince you that you are getting a great deal for the item. Behind this scheme is that they are going to make you think your getting this, but than buy your item and not get anything.
A SAFE TRADER WOULD LOOK LIKE THIS:
Your trading... Babydoll Tunic
They are trading... Dress Inspired by Miu Miu
This means that they are interested in trading, and are not ripping themselves off.
Step 2) A List in their Presentation saying "I have safely traded and gone second with these people..." usually means that the person, after they hack you they put you on that list. They make a great long list so that traders will think "Oh, they have traded lots of times," but really, its probably a lie and they are just trying to make you think they are safe. Do not trust people with Safe-Trader lists!
Step 3) Begin the discussion of who is going to put their items out first. If the person is pressuring you to go first, for no good reason they most likely are planning to hack you. IF THEY HAVE A GOOD REASON YOU MAY WANT TO TRUST THEM, or you risk loosing the deal! When I trade, I never go first because I got hacked and lost everything, so I don't trust strangers that much.
Step 4) In the event that you are hacked, if you want that person removed you have to do something.
>> Make a note in your presentation about the hacker. Than broadcast for your presentation, than people will report them.
>>Tell EVERYONE.  Message the Stardoll Staff about the hacker. Comment on a whole bunch of guestbooks and build a support team! If your lucky, the person might follow through with the deal, but in most cases, you never do get your item back, and you may never get that person reported enough that they're bazaar gets closed for good.

Please follow these tips and be a SAFE TRADER! Do not trust anyone who appears sketchy!
