Reader Makeover: ImmaShorty

So another reader has requested a makeover! Here is the before image of ImmaShorty and below is the after.

Now of course, the changes.

To make the wig fit more naturally around the head, neck and shoulder, we lowered the wig, and filled the gap with a hair piece.

As you can see, I highlighted the piece of hair that needs to be tucked under, and I also highlighted the part of hair that should fit right between the neck and shoulder. Consider the second highlighted box as your guide.

Next, we used some accessories around the eyes.

We used the Arrow Statement eye accessory, which creates wings on the eyes. Then we added two sets of Spectacular Eyelashes, right on top of each other to make the lashes more full.

For make-up, we used no mascara! We just lined the eyes with some black eyeliner, applied a mist of black eyeshadow and did one simple coat of Fire Brick Lipstick. To make the look less over-the-top, we did a simple swipe of pink blush on the sides of the cheeks.

The changes we recommend are to lower the eyebrows a bit.

Reader Makeover: Ismah26

Our reader, Ismah26 requested a make-over! So we are going to giver her one! Above is the before image.

Here is the after! Now to explain the changes. 

To make the hair more full, we made use of what other hair Ismah26 had!

We grabbed this piece of hair (which you can easily design and buy for 1 Stardollar!) and clicked it to the behind layer. This way, when you move it up, it goes behind the head, instantly making her wig look more full!

Since the hair is quite dramatic, I swapped out her dramatic lips for dramatic eyes.

We started by doing black on the outer edges. Then we used the brown-ish eyeshadow in the middle, piling it on top of the black. Then we took the cream colored shadow and applied it on the edges. Next, we put mascara all over lashes, and applied liquid eyeliner all around eyes, careful not to make wings on the inner corners. Since the eyes are quite dramatic, we used a light pink lipstick so it wasn't too over-the-top.

We used some of the brownish blush to go up the sides of the cheeks. Then we did a layer of pink over top of the brown to make it look more natural. 

That's it!

Callie's Picks Issue No. 14 Punk Princess - Review

Another new collection of Callie's Picks... with that comes another review. This collection was pretty nice, and contained a lot of Tribute items. Shall we begin?

Tingeling Items

A Tingeling item, from the Amazing Breeze collection. Its a bit funny how they bring back a piece from the breeze collection, and just last week they released a Tress Up collection of hair based on the wind.

More Tingeling, I also think this was in the Amazing Breeze collection. 

Another Tingeling item. If you like any of those three items, I would just buy it. Tingeling is getting hard to come by, so this may be one of your few chances.

Mortal Kiss

So last week we had a Chanel Graveyard. This week we have a Mortal Kiss graveyard. Mortal Kiss is probably one of the most wanted brands in Stardoll, so I do not understand why they keep re-releasing items from Mortal Kiss! They have also up-priced a lot of items.

Frankie Morello Tribute

So they decided to re-release some Frankie Morello items again. All three of these items are from the older collection as well, not the recent summer one.

Jean Paul Gaultier Tribute

Just one item from this tribute, its the pink biker vest. I personally feel like they should have released more items from this tribute. Here is an example of the tribute, and as you can see this tribute was completely punk.  

Miss Sixty

These are probably one of the rarest items from Miss Sixty. They are hard to find in the StarBazaar, and are usually really expensive.

Absolute Rip-Offs

These were originally in the Starplaza for Starcoins at RIO! They are a complete rip-off, and I bet you that if you went to the StarBazaar and searched RIO, Starcoins, you would find these.

This was in Pretty n'Love and kept disappearing and then re-appearing. It costed about 100 Starcoins at the time, and now they've made the price Stardollars. And this vest isn't even that nice. 

Archive

Here is a dress from Archive, re-releasead. If you want this dress, but don't want the Callie's Picks label, go to the StarBazaar, and spend a good half hour looking and you should find it. I found it in the StarBazaar for 16 Stardollars, so you should  be able to have some luck as well.

Forgive me if I am wrong, but I recall this item to be an old item from the Archive.

Hot Buys

Here are the Hot Buys that have returned. The Silk Tassle Band Jacket was from Bonjour Bizou I'm pretty sure, and has a VERY high value. The Camden Leather Jacket was from Evil Panda, I'm guessing. Its value is around 150 Stardollars. 

So you now have your very detailed review on where these items came from! Go buy what you like, without sweating its value [;
