StarPoint Update

I noticed an update with Starpoints! Now, whenever you hover over your level up meter, a little box pops up and tells you how many StarPoints you have in total, how many StarPoints you are to the next level, and which items it unlocks.

New Gifts for Buying a Superstar Membership

There are now new gifts for when you purchase a Superstar Membership. 

You get all the gifts shown above when you buy a 12 month membership, and for every other membership you receive less and less items.

StarDesign Hair Update

We have a new StarDesign Hair update! Now, when you finish designing a wig, you can go back and edit it further. You click that little pencil button beside the trash button.

Broadcasting Costs 5 Stardollars Again

The broadcast price has been lowered from 8 Stardollars back down to 5 Stardollars. This has most likely changed back due to the fact that MSW is over.

StarBazaar Search Updates!

Stardoll has updated the StarBazaar search!

You can now search for Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent and Givenchy!

I have some great news!!!
My new laptop has been ordered! It is estimated that the laptop will arrive in a week, but it could take longer. Still, check back because it will be here soon!

New Feature: Give Gifts Directly From the Starplaza

 Today we got a new feature. You can now gift directly from the Starplaza if you are friends with the user. You need to be a Superstar or level 12 to use this feature. You cannot send a Superstar item to a Non-Superstar. You can send the gift to 10 friends at a time!

The Vote Update!

The Vote has been updated! You now need to be level 8 to enter this competition! Hopefully this will eliminate a few of those closet pics ;)

Camera Update!

So first of all we can now zoom in:

I am SO glad they FINALLY updated this. It was a dumb idea to take away the zoom function in the first place.

Second of all, we got four new filters! Here are the filters:

The Stockholm filter looks best in darker areas I find, thats why I took a picture where you can see grey walls and bright areas. Notice the difference?

So I do not think its necessary to ask if you like this update. But let me know your thoughts anyway!(:

The Vote Updates

Here are two new updates for The Vote:

You can now see the Starpoint Level of people in The Vote.

Now it shows how many votes each person got. Also, for people who made into the top (Disregarding those who come in first, second and third place) it shows a trophy with the place they came in.

Non-Superstars Can Now Enter 'The Vote'

Non-Superstars can now also enter The Vote competition. But Stardoll also added another update. It costs 10 Starcoins to enter the contest, no matter what your membership status is (Royalty, Superstar, etc.).

Do you think 10 Starcoins is a decent amount?

The Vote Update: Report Button

There has been an update to The Vote. When you hover over a picture now, a report symbol will come up. You can click it to report an inappropriate photo.

Blog Update

Okay so here is the 100th blog post! It may seem like nothing, but 100 posts is a lot! 100 posts covered almost a whole year! From June to January! Its a huge milestone! I know we are only at 5 followers, but its better then none! By the end of 2014, if I have 10 followers I will be happy(: If you guys ever have a new theme in mind, please comment and tell me about it! Be sure to comment as much as you can, and following always helps a lot! You can make a Google account to easily follow the blog and easily comment as well.

Now for the blog update! Every single month, we are going to be changing the blog theme! That way, the blog theme never gets boring, and is always fresh! The blog theme will revolve around what events are happening that month. For the short rest of this month, I have selected an ice rink background. The ice is a great theme for January, as January is a Winter month. January doesn't have a main holiday, except for New Years Day, which has long since passed. Next month, will clearly revolve around that months holiday... so Valentines Day. But only time will tell what March and so on will bring! Catwalk Contest Gone, But is it Gone for Good?

Catwalk contest is gone! If you go to the cover of Stardoll, there is no "Catwalk Winner" sign. If you click onto the contests tab, it is gone as well.

Lastly, if you go see the "Today's Winners" Category, its gone as well.

I personally hate this change! If 'The Vote' has replaced Catwalk, that is a downgrade to Stardoll! Only Royalty users can enter the vote, and everybody could enter the Catwalk! Hopefully this is just some glitch, but I honestly don't have much hope for that!

The task in Stardoll Academy is still possible, I checked. If you click HERE it will take you to the Catwalk as well. What does this mean?

Starplaza Receipt Update

Stardoll updated... or should I say downgraded the receipt at the Starplaza.

With this new receipt, the only option you get is to Continue Shopping. You now have to click 'MyPage' to get back to your suite or beauty parlor, as there is no longer a link on the receipt. This is a small difference, but it sure is tedious. 

Friend Feed: Now Available To Anyone

Stardoll has upgraded Friend Feed so everyone can use it, and everyone has a turn off button.

Blog Glitch Fixed + Update

First of all, the classic Follow By Email wasn't working. I tested it and nothing would happen, and no confirmation link would be sent to you. I couldn't find another follow by email app, so that will be on hold for a little while.

The new update is a new way to follow the blog. You click "Join this site" and than a box will open. You can follow this blog now by Google, Yahoo or Twitter. So go hit that join this site button on the right and get the news first!
