Dior Pass Last Chance

Late this evening Stardoll released that Dior Tribute Pass would no longer be available. You get a month of Superstar, 200 stardollars and 300 starcoins. The 10 free gifts are inspired of Dior pieces, of course, except they are not Dior brand. They are Special Offer, so the clothing isn't worth much. 

Anyway I am pretty sure that the pass ends on August 6th, so you still have a little under a week if you haven't yet purchased this pass, yet plan on it.

New Collection of Bonjour Bizou Released: NYC Girl

Stardoll released a new clothing line in Bonjour Bizou! Its called NYC Girl. They released one floor and a small amount that is on the second floor.

Cool Design

Hey guys! So I thought a cool post would just be a cool, unique design! I decided I would make this before the copycatters arose from the grave. Unless they never died... anyways. I have a cool Hottest Designers Design! I think its a really unique design, and for sure, it will be copied, but here is the original one!

The design is by KoshkinBOY and he designed a backdrop! The uniqueness of the design is that its layered. All text-tile designs are flat, simple patterns or pictures of faces or scenery. This backdrop reminds of the Miss Stardoll World 2011 backdrop, except that one was in pink. It really is unique and cool, hopefully our copy friends will do a great job and give us more of these special, unique and amazing designs!

Blog Glitch Fixed + Update

First of all, the classic Follow By Email wasn't working. I tested it and nothing would happen, and no confirmation link would be sent to you. I couldn't find another follow by email app, so that will be on hold for a little while.

The new update is a new way to follow the blog. You click "Join this site" and than a box will open. You can follow this blog now by Google, Yahoo or Twitter. So go hit that join this site button on the right and get the news first!

Featured: kookie_monster1

From the 1000 Viewer Give-Away, our winner was the beautiful kookie_monster1 who has a very unique style! What I love about her style is that not very many people can pull it off. She can though, and she makes it look super good! Its clear that she isn't afraid to take risks with this stunning outfit!

In the beauty parlor, I just love the look of her doll. Something about it, that I can't describe in words is just so beautiful. The ombre hair, that is very subtle, the gorgeous Hot Buys Hair Flower, and the contact lenses... She also has lots of black eye make-up on to create an almost smokey eye effect. The cheeks look great with the 2 shades combined. Than the lips is by far, the most creative. I have never seen something like it. The color only in some parts looks super stunning, and I will for sure be adding that onto my try-list. 

After adding the piercings, the innocent look turns to a tough look, which is a hard balance to achieve. kookie_monster1 has extreme talent, I think you all should give her a visit to check out her incredible style and talent.

New Fallen Angel Collection

Today Stardoll released one floor of Fallen Angel. Most of the time, Fallen Angel is my lest favourite store because I have a girly or classy style, not  a goth one. But these clothes really catch my eye, and I really like all of them!

Fever is Closing!

After one month in the Starplaza, the store Fever is closing down!

Some people may wonder why its closing, but to me its really clear. I hardly ever saw anyone wearing Fever clothing, so it must not have been a hit like they expected, and will probably bring in a different store to replace it. Are you sad to see it go? Or are you jumping on the band wagon because you disliked it?

Old is the new New... is it?

New Friend Feed Feature

Stardoll released a new feature today. The new feature is called friend feed. I noticed this because on the far left of my screen was a purple strip with an arrow. I clicked on it and this is what came out:

It basically loads out everything your friends are doing. In some ways it could be useful, but also it advertises yourself to your friends, so that's pretty cool!

Hot Buys Summer Retro Collection 2 Highlights

So there was a new release of Hot Buys Summer Retro! Its complete with rares that value up to 500 Stardollars! I photo-graphed the items in the collection that you must buy! Well, if your a collecter you must.

I have been on Stardoll since April 2011, and the only item that was released while I was playing was the Hot Buys Leblon Miniskirt. These are super old! The hat is valued at about 500 Stardollars, the bikini necklace is about 400, the record necklace is 300, the shoes are 200, the General Jacket is 500 and the Jean Jacket is 250.

I personally really love these items, I am very excited to sell items in my Starbazaar to purchase these!

What!?

I thought it might be useful to point out how unfair Stardoll's most recent Hottest Design Interior is. This has to be a mistake. First of all, look at the user. See her level, observe.

Level 6? Can someone please explain how this is fair. I visited her, and the last time she was online was 2 Days ago. She probably will never return on Stardoll, yet she somehow won this. I am clueless as to how she won this, as her design couldn't have been sold. 

That brings me to the next horrifying moment... her design. A simple design that surely did not deserve to win as I have seen way more creative designs than this. Behold:

The butterfly. In pink. Creative? Nope.  But Stardoll seems to make everyone from Turkey famous - what can we do or say?

The clutch is also way to big! It is a lot bigger than our medolls heads! Hopefully Stardoll will fix this, but they might just keep it like that, after all their freebies tend to be less 'Attractive.'

Sunset Make-Up Tutorial

Hey Guys! I am here with another make-up tutorial, I know I just posted one but I love making these! This one is called Sunset.

Step One: Apply white liquid eyeliner to inner corners of your eyes. Take some deep orange eyeshadow (Must be dark, and must have a lighter orange available) and dab some in the corners of your eyes. Go a little above eye lid.

Step Two: Take a light orange eyeshadow and apply a slide of it that starts from the inner corners of eyes to the outer corners. It may not show good if you have tanned skin, but it will in the end.

Step Three: Add white eyeshadow to inner corners of eyes. Make sure it stays low and in line with everything, or you start creating bumps.

Step Four: Sweep a thin streak of bright yellow eyeshadow onto eye lids. Only do two coats, make it very thin, and DO NOT put the yellow on the white, only the orange.

Step Five: Apply volume and length mascara all over lashes. If you have a colour patch amongst the mascara, shade it with black eyeliner.

Step Six: Using a soft brown colour, bronze cheeks so you look sun-kissed after a day of sun. Apply a nude coloured lipstick, and gloss it with Luxe or Maybeline. To gloss is optional, but it is recommended.

Finished Look:

You can put on cute sun dresses or bathing suits with this, or just wear it around your suite in bright yellow or orange colours! New Pet-a-Porter Collection Review

So as you may know, we had a new collection of Pet-a-Porter released! High quality animals, very few animated, 100 Stardollars+ each. I took a look around various blog's and gathered these two great comments.

My opinion:
Back when the animals used to actually grow, 120 Stardollars seemed like a fair price. You even got a cool message from Callie.Stardoll after your pet had grown to full size. They were all animated, you could get really cool things like firebreathing dragons! Now the collection has no animation, and is for sure not worth the money. Think, 3 creatures is 300 stardollars down the drain! There isn't anything special about these, just go buy the 7 Stardollar animals from the Suite Shop!
