Colorful hair seems to be popping up more and more... perhaps this will be the next big thing. It is, after all, a perfect trend for Spring. The blonde hair with bright pastels is subtle enough to wear as an everyday hair, but is also noticeable.

Reader Makeover: ImmaShorty

So another reader has requested a makeover! Here is the before image of ImmaShorty and below is the after.

Now of course, the changes.

To make the wig fit more naturally around the head, neck and shoulder, we lowered the wig, and filled the gap with a hair piece.

As you can see, I highlighted the piece of hair that needs to be tucked under, and I also highlighted the part of hair that should fit right between the neck and shoulder. Consider the second highlighted box as your guide.

Next, we used some accessories around the eyes.

We used the Arrow Statement eye accessory, which creates wings on the eyes. Then we added two sets of Spectacular Eyelashes, right on top of each other to make the lashes more full.

For make-up, we used no mascara! We just lined the eyes with some black eyeliner, applied a mist of black eyeshadow and did one simple coat of Fire Brick Lipstick. To make the look less over-the-top, we did a simple swipe of pink blush on the sides of the cheeks.

The changes we recommend are to lower the eyebrows a bit.

Reader Makeover: Ismah26

Our reader, Ismah26 requested a make-over! So we are going to giver her one! Above is the before image.

Here is the after! Now to explain the changes. 

To make the hair more full, we made use of what other hair Ismah26 had!

We grabbed this piece of hair (which you can easily design and buy for 1 Stardollar!) and clicked it to the behind layer. This way, when you move it up, it goes behind the head, instantly making her wig look more full!

Since the hair is quite dramatic, I swapped out her dramatic lips for dramatic eyes.

We started by doing black on the outer edges. Then we used the brown-ish eyeshadow in the middle, piling it on top of the black. Then we took the cream colored shadow and applied it on the edges. Next, we put mascara all over lashes, and applied liquid eyeliner all around eyes, careful not to make wings on the inner corners. Since the eyes are quite dramatic, we used a light pink lipstick so it wasn't too over-the-top.

We used some of the brownish blush to go up the sides of the cheeks. Then we did a layer of pink over top of the brown to make it look more natural. 

That's it!

Stardoll Make-Up Tutorial: Spring Fling

A beautiful mix of pinks, purples, blues and sparkles. Read below for a step by step with pictures on how to get this beautiful look!

Start by brushing on a little bit of Luxe eyeshadow. Use a purple or blue eyeshadow if possible.

Take a lilac colored eyeshadow and brush it over most of the Luxe Shadow, just not the outer pieces.

Using the same color of Luxe eyeshadow that you used earlier, go over the outer edges of your eyes.

Apply volume mascara all over lashes. DO NOT add length mascara, or it will cover all the gorgeous eye colors!

Brush on some pink blush to the sides of your cheeks.

Put on some light-ish pink lipstick. You could also use a peach colored lipstick.

Thats it! Add desired hair and accessories! I hope you like this look! Comment below any make-up tutorial you'd like to see! I will try my best at anything!

Warm Spring Make-Up Tutorial

The weather has been getting quite warm recently! I decided to create a softer look, because it never feels right wearing a ton of make-up in warm weather. So without further to do, here it is!

Apply eyeshadow. Use a sky blue, lilac and yellow colour. Dab onto eyelids, spreading side to side.

Apply mascara. Use black mascara, and apply volume mascara all over lashes, and length mascara on top lashes only.

Apply yellow eyeliner to the inner corners of your eyes.

Swipe on some blush to the sides of your face only. I used Burnt Orange Blush, and did one swipe per cheek.

Apply a light pink or nude coloured lipstick to your lips. 

Now you can change your hairstyle, accessorize, or whatever else you wish. I hope you like it!

Here are some tips for this look!

• Apply volumizing mascara all over lashes. When applying lengthening mascara, however, only apply it to the top lashes.
• Use bronzer on your cheeks! It pulls the whole look together, and gives a sun-kissed look.
• Make your dolls hair blonde, it makes the make-up pop out more! It doesn't matter what shade of blonde.
• Do not put white in the corners instead of yellow! The yellow creates the same effect, but is more unique and matches the whole theme of the make-up tutorial.
